Louise Rothwell joins Blue Bay's PTCs as business development executive
Ilaria Grasso MacolaBlue Bay Travel has appointed former Co-op Holidays sales executive Louise Rothwell as business development executive for its homeworking division, the Personal Travel Consultants (PTCs).
Rothwell, who has run her own self-employed travel business for the past 10 years, will work alongside fellow business development executive manager Vikki Griffin, who joined the homeworking group earlier this year.
Together, Rothwell and Griffin will be on hand to help the firm’s homeworking agents develop their brand skills and firmly establish their own businesses.
Her appointment comes as part of Blue Bay’s growth strategy for the Personal Travel Consultants after the homeworking brand reported its strongest ever quarter earlier this year.
“Blue Bay Travel has a great team and I am looking forward to supporting the existing homeworkers while being involved in the recruitment of future PTCs,” Rothwell said.
PTC sales manager Abbie Heaton added: “Lou’s experience and knowledge as a homeworker will really support the existing team in furthering their businesses.
"We hired Lou because her passion and experience really shone through when sharing her ideas for future growth plans. Adding to the existing platform is a big focus for the Personal Travel Consultants business in 2024."
