Michelle Thake joins Ocean Holidays trade sales team
James ChappleFormer Jet2holidays sales executive and G Adventures global purpose specialist Michelle Thake has joined Ocean Holidays.
She brings more than 25 years’ travel industry experience to her new agency sales executive role with the operator’s Ocean Florida brand.
Thake set up her own business as a Travel Counsellor in 2004 before joining G’s trade team in late 2018.
Two years later, she moved on to Jet2holidays and later held a UK and Ireland market manager role for the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.
"We are delighted to welcome Michelle Thake to the Ocean Florida trade sales team," said Ocean Holidays in a post to LinkedIn.
"Michelle joins us as agency sales executive, with more than 25 years’ experience in the travel trade, including roles with independent travel agencies, airline reservations, Travel Counsellors, G Adventures and Jet2holidays," the post continued.
"Her wealth of experience has given her great insight and experience to ensure she can support our agents in the best way possible.
"A self-confessed Disney Queen and Harry Potter fanatic, we’ve no doubt Michelle’s expertise will be a great asset to the team."
