National Holidays has launched a new TV ad campaign with an agent call to action, targeting key sales regions in the brand’s northern heartland.
The 30-second ads, which will run on Sky for the next month, highlight theatre breaks, family theme park trips, city tours, as well as iconic sights and experience breaks.
It is National parent JG Travel Group’s first foray into TV advertising to support the brand.
The campaign has been designed to boost brand awareness in National’s key departure towns and cities, and features a prompt reminding viewers they can visit their local travel agent to book.
It will be accompanied by a new 2022 preview brochure, which will be distributed to agents next week to ensure they are up-to-speed on the product National is advertising.
Claire Dutton, National’s head of trade sales, said: “Our new TV advert will raise our profile in key selling areas and help drive more customers into travel agents.
"The trade has been hugely supportive since we purchased the brand last year, and we know that for many customers the reassurance and advice offered by agents when booking is more important than ever.
"Our 2022 preview brochure is full of ideas to help them maximise sales opportunities in their areas.”
