A management shake-up at On the Beach Group owned Classic Collection Holidays will see chief executive Andy Freeth and product lead Alex Gavalda leave the business.
The trade-only operator said Si Morris-Green had taken up the role of director B2B and would lead the two Classic brands – Classic Collection Holidays and Classic Package Holidays – through their "next chapter of growth".
A spokesperson told TTG: “We can confirm we’ve made some leadership changes in our business to business channel.
"Following the announcement on 27 February about On the Beach’s partnership with Ryanair and the fact that the agreement won’t currently cover bookings in B2B packages via Classic Packages Holidays, we have taken the decision to restructure the leadership of Classic Collection.
"As a result, Andy Freeth will be leaving the business."
Freeth’s move comes less than 18 months after he was appointed chief executive, while Gavalda, who was product and commercial director, was with the operator for more than four years.
Freeth previously spent nine months heading up UK coach operator JG Travel Group, and two years at luxury specialist If Only.
Classic Collection was bought by On the Beach in 2018 for £20 million, with the OTA using the purchase to gain access to bookings made via the trade.
“We remain committed to growing the business and supporting the trade with the service and product that we have a reputation for delivering and that they have come to expect,” the On the Beach spokesperson added.
