Star Clippers to host biggest-ever agent fam this month
Ilaria Grasso MacolaStar Clippers will host its largest-ever agent fam trip later this month, taking 15 agents on an eight-night cruise across the Mediterranean.
The tall ship specialist on Friday (19 April) revealed agents from the likes of Miles Morgan Travel, the Travel Bureau and Glen Travel would join the sailing onboard Star Flyer.
Departing Malaga on 26 April, the fam will call at Spain’s Motril, Ibiza, Palma and Mahon in the Balearics, and finally Corsica’s Bonifacio before reaching Rome on 4 May.
The trip will be divided into two parts to give agents time to experience the 166-passenger ship, and will be hosted by regional sales managers Nicola Cox and Alison Jared.
“Providing travel agents with the opportunity to experience a Star Clippers sailing first-hand is the ultimate way to educate industry partners about our unique product,” said UK general manager Fay McCormack.
“We are delighted by the interest and enthusiasm for this upcoming trip and are excited for the agents’ experiences to be shared with new potential guests."
Star Clippers is represented in the UK by general sales agent Fred Olsen Travel and operates a fleet of three tall ships – the 227-passenger Star Clipper, and two smaller vessels Star Flyer and Star Clipper.
