Mauritius specialist Sunlife has named former Trailfinders product manager Beth Lewis, who led on the agency’s Indian Ocean portfolio, as its new sales and marketing manager.
In her new role, Lewis will be responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategy, driving revenue growth and “establishing strong relationships with partners”. She will report into director of sales and marketing UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, Lisa Balsom.
“Beth brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the Indian Ocean to the role and will be able to help us reach key target UK consumers through trade relations,” said Balsom.
“Sunlife has four fantastic properties in Mauritius, as well as Île aux Cerfs Leisure Island and Golf Club, a private island and one of the world’s top golf courses. Beth’s experience will help us further share the Sunlife resorts’ portfolio.”
Prior to joining Sunlife, Lewis spent four years at Trailfinders, working her way up from a travel consultant role to product manager for Trailfinders’ Indian Ocean programme.
“During my time as a product manager for the Indian Ocean, I grew an in-depth knowledge of the Mauritian tourism market and have a proven track record of identifying the commercial tools best used to grow room nights and therefore maximise revenue with long term sustained success," said Lewis.
