Mark Wright will host Royal Caribbean’s annual trade awards aboard the new-look Independence of the Seas.
The ship’s exclusive first sailing will be the venue for the awards, recognising the work of Royal’s agent partners across the UK and Ireland.
TV and radio presenter, and TOWIE star, Wright will also man the decks in Independence’s Studio B club after the bash.
"I can’t wait to get onboard Independence of the Seas to see what the agents make of her multi-million pound makeover”, said Wright.
“I’ve seen a few cosmetic makeovers in my time, but from what I’ve heard, the new features onboard Independence have to be seen to be believed.”
Ben Bouldin, Royal managing director, will co-host the awards.
Some 500 agents have already won a place for themselves and a plus on Independence’s the two-night inaugural sailing from Southampton on May 13.
Agents can now put their names in the hat for one of 25 VIP experiences, including meeting Wright, speciality dining for two and access to an exclusive area to catch his DJ set.
To enter, agents just need to re-enter through Club Royal and register any bookings made on Independence between April 11 and April 30 through the Club Rewards website.
Bouldin added: “Independence of the Seas will have extraordinary features onboard when she returns to the UK, so we wanted to ensure the awards are just as extraordinary.
“It’s important for us to celebrate the invaluable role agents play within our business and show them just how much we appreciate their hard work. We can’t wait to get Mark and our agents onboard.”
New features on Independence include the SkyPad virtual reality bungee trampoline experience, new Fish and Ships restaurant, its Panoramic Ocean View Staterooms, and new Perfect Storm water slides.
