Travelport has reshuffled its agency commerce leadership teams.
Simon Ferguson has been appointed managing director agency commerce for the US, Canada and Latin America and Damian Hickey for EMEA.
Ferguson, who joined Travelport in 2011 and currently oversees the firm’s northern Europe region, succeeds Bret Kidd, who will take on an alternative role at the company.
He will relocate from London to Travelport’s base in Atlanta, Georgia, from July 1.
Hickey replaces Rabih Shah and will relocate to Travelport’s UK base in Langley from Singapore where he has been managing the company’s Asia-Pacific air commerce wing.
He joined Travelport in 2012 and has more than 20 years experience in the travel technology sector.
Jason Clarke, Travelport managing director agency commerce, said: “I would like to thank Bret for his contribution in leading the Americas over the past two years and congratulate Damian and Simon on their new roles.
“I am confident that leaders of their calibre will ensure we continue to meet the needs of our customers in these critical regions and help them improve their performance with the unique tools and differentiated content only Travelport offers.”
