The Travel Network Group (TTNG) has provided its members with advice and guidance on ways to create "worthwhile savings" during the current cost of living crisis in the UK.
The group has shared a series of implementable tips to assist its members with energy-saving and negotiation tactics, as well as office, marketing and employer expenses.
The tips, available to all TTNG members, include ways to negotiate better deals with banks, landlords and utility suppliers; purchasing office items in bulk; and going paperless where possible.
There is also advice on making partnerships with other local businesses and taking on apprenticeships to help with employer costs.
Gary Lewis, TTNG chief executive, said: “The support that the government has initially outlined is a great start, but many of our members are concerned about what happens when the support dries up, which could be in just a few months’ time.
"Our members, and the travel industry as a whole, are incredibly resilient, as proven over the last couple of years, and we want to do our part to ensure this continues."
