Solmar has added two new popular island destinations to its growing villa portfolio, and plans to reveal its first long-haul destinations later this year.
The villa specialist has expanded to Ibiza and Kos for summer 2023, with properties ranging from the one-bedroom TAF Villa Barefoot in Tigaki to the eight-bedroom Can Cecilia in Ibiza’s Santa Eulalia.
Its portfolio now spans 1,500 villas throughout the Mediterranean and Europe. Solmar added Italy’s Amalfi coast to its list of destinations last year, and is preparing to ramp up its own range of flight-inclusive packages to an initial 25-plus destinations.
Chief executive Julie Blake said on Tuesday (10 January) Solmar’s plans to offer more destinations, "including some long-haul locations", were "well under way" and would be revealed later in the year.
"We are always aiming to grow our portfolio, but I am very picky about the villas we put our name to," said Blake. "More is only better if we can maintain the quality our customers have come to expect.
"The villas we have hand-picked in Ibiza and Kos are stunning, and I’m proud to include them under the Solmar banner. They all reflect our core principles of location, safety and quality – I won’t compromise when it comes to giving our customers a fabulous holiday experience, so I’m sure these new destinations will be as popular with guests as all of our other resorts.
“Plans to add even more destinations, including some long-haul locations, are well under way – more will be revealed later in the year."
All Solmar breaks include the services of in-resort villa manager, while all villas come with pools.
