Virgin Atlantic has announced a new two-person private dining concept onboard its A350s, which also includes wine and cognac tasting.
The experience will take place in the Booth, a new area announced in September, which is located on the aircraft’s Upper Class cabin and is designed to “create a cosy corner, providing comfy lounge-style seating”, the carrier said.
The wine tasting experience will feature drinks by UK “wine in a can” specialists The Uncommon, with customers able to sample a curated selection of three wines, including an English white and rose, alongside a lighter spritzer.
Meanwhile the cognac-tasting experience will feature chocolate pairings. Every customer taking part in the tasting experience will also receive a tasting glass to keep as a memento.
Other experiences on offer in The Booth include “Dinner for Two” private dining and “Game Time”, where guests can compete in a game of cards with their travel partner.
Customers on the airline’s Heathrow to Orlando flights will be the first to partake in the Booth’s new experiences from today (1 April).
