Windstar Cruises has expanded its partnership with a luxury hotel operator to further elevate its French Polynesia offering.
The line will offer a new package in partnership with Pacific Beachcomber, which operates seven hotels including InterContinental Hotel Group, Maitai Hotels and The Brando.
Starting 1 May, The Brando package is a post-cruise add-on and is reserved exclusively for Windstar guests staying in Star Breeze’s top suites. Prices for the package start from $6,900pp.
The Brando, which has 35 private villas overlooking a five-mile-wide lagoon, was named after the late Marlon Brando, who bought the atoll in the 1960s.
Guests of The Brando can snorkel, bird watching and join cultural and archaeological expeditions.
Windstar’s president Christopher Prelog said: "This collaboration not only further enhances our commitment to providing unparalleled luxury, but also allows us to extend the Windstar experience seamlessly from sea to land, providing our guests with exceptional hospitality throughout their journey."
Last month, Windstar partnered with Pacific Beachcomber’s InterContinental Tahiti Resort & Spa in Papeete for pre- and post-cruise stays on Tahiti.
Windstar currently offers one-night overwater bungalow stays as an additional excursion for guests to book mid-cruise when overnighting at Pacific Beachcomber’s Intercontinental Bora Bora Le Moana in Bora Bora.
