Barrhead Travel moves up Best Companies list

The Glasgow-headquartered group has placed 62nd in the national category. It has also received recognition in the Scottish, Northwest, and Leisure and Hospitality categories where it places 12th, 18th and 10th respectively. It has also been awarded a two-star accreditation, which celebrates “outstanding” organisations.

Best Companies is based on employee feedback and insights, collecting information via anonymous surveys throughout the year. Its process assesses feedback from a range of topics including employee wellbeing, job satisfaction, diversity, benefits, and development opportunities.

To help encourage uptake of the survey completion, Barrhead Travel pledged to donate £3 per completion to the Samaritans on behalf of the workforce. It raised more than £1000 for the charity.
