Brazil registered a historic record of foreign visitors in 2024 and projects new growth for this year, with actions focused on strategic countries
With its incomparable natural diversity and authentic culture, Brazil reached historic numbers in 2024, registering a 20% growth in the arrival of European visitors. To further intensify this expansion, Embratur is launching this Wednesday (22.01) a new campaign to promote Brazil in Europe.
The initiative highlights destinations that demonstrate the exuberance of Brazilian nature and consolidates the country as one of the most desired in the world. Focused on promoting strategic segments and niches, reinforcing our authentic and sustainable experiences, the campaign presents the wonders of Brazil, such as sun, beach, nature, culture and gastronomy. It will be broadcast in Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany France, and Spain.
The "There's no place like Brazil" campaign will be broadcast on websites, social media and different communication channels between January 22 and February 28, 2025, incorporating a complete marketing funnel strategy to engage and attract tourists at various stages of the decision-making journey.
The dissemination of the pieces gains strength with strategic partnerships in cooperative campaigns carried out in conjunction with airlines and the international tourism trade (OTAs, large tour operators, consortium of luxury agencies and distribution channels such as GDS). This collaboration model seeks to unite efforts between Embratur and its partners, maximizing investments and expanding the impact of promotional actions.
“Europe maintains a significant historical and cultural connection with Brazil, and the Europe campaign seeks to cement this bond by positioning Brazil as one of the most desired destinations in the world. With a focus on authenticity and sustainability, our goal is to show how Brazil is prepared to offer transformative experiences and exceptional destinations. This initiative reinforces Brazil's commitment to providing European tourists with not only stunning landscapes and our unique hospitality, but also a responsible and innovative tourism model", emphasises Marcelo Freixo, president of Embratur.
