As autumn takes hold across Europe, Chia Laguna Resort, Sardinia welcomes guests seeking warm temperatures and activity filled days. Following an outstanding season marked by double-digit growth in occupancy rates, the resort welcomes all types of traveller to three distinct properties - Conrad Chia Laguna Sardinia, Baia di Chia Resort Sardinia - Curio Collection by Hilton, and Hotel Village.

“This was a record-breaking summer for us, with July and August seeing near 100% occupancy, thanks to both domestic and international travellers,” says Marco Pedna, General Manager of Chia Laguna Resort. “This year, we saw significant growth in bookings for excursions and cultural experiences. Travellers are seeking out unique, immersive adventures that allow them to connect with the local culture, cuisine, and environment.”

Not only a haven for beach lovers, but a playground for sports and nature enthusiasts, this year, Chia Laguna introduced new sports academies, such as the Juventus Resort Experience and GZ19 football Legends Academy, led by former world champion Gianluca Zambrotta. With two private beach clubs located on Monte Cogoni and Dune di Campana beaches, visitors can also explore nearby treasures like Cala Cipolla and Tuerredda, two of Sardinia’s most scenic coastal spots. Guests can enjoy horseback riding to Capo Spartivento or embark on boat tours along Chia’s pristine coastline.

Chia Laguna Resort is committed to sustainable tourism. Recently, Hotel Village was awarded the prestigious International Biosphere Certification, recognising its efforts to align with global sustainability standards. The certification reflects Chia Laguna’s dedication to promoting a slower, more conscious way of travel, in harmony with Sardinia’s environment.

The resort’s Green Committee leads several eco-friendly initiatives, such as seasonal “Eco Days” where guests can participate in beach clean-ups and tree planting activities. The next Eco Day is set for 17 October, inviting guests to make a tangible impact on the environment while enjoying the beauty of the island.
