November 2024 sees HF Holidays celebrate it’s 111th anniversary, as well as significant milestones at three of their 15 country houses.
HF Holidays, Britain’s longest-running walking holiday co-operative, is celebrating 111 years of bringing people together in the great outdoors. Alongside its birthday, the company is also marking significant milestones at three of the 15 country houses it owns including 90 years at Newfield Hall in the Southern Yorkshire Dales, 35 years at Thorns Hall in the Western Yorkshire Dales, and 30 years at Abingworth Hall in the South Downs.
The business was founded in 1913 by social innovator, TA Leonard, OBE. His vision was to offer walking holidays that inspire fun, friendship, and active enjoyment of the outdoors – values that remain at the heart of HF Holidays today.
Over a century later, they continue to follow in Leonard’s footsteps by creating holiday experiences that connect like-minded people who share a passion for the countryside.
To commemorate its 111th anniversary, HF Holidays is offering additional savings on their special three- and seven-night celebration breaks beginning on the 8th and 9th November for one week only. Available at selected UK country houses, these guided and self-guided walking holidays include 3- or 4-star en-suite accommodation, full-board meals, and a choice of daily walks with an experienced leader or on your own using HF Holidays’ easy-to-follow routes.
Guests will also be treated to:
