Dnata Travel Group's UK B2B brands report best weeks ever

Dnata Travel Group’s UK B2B brands saw an exceptional trading performance last week, with its flagship brand, Gold Medal, recording it as their best performing week since the end of the worldwide pandemic.

Their specialist brands also reached new highs, with both Cruise Plus and Incredible Journeys reporting their best weeks for both revenue and margin.
 
Gold Medal have identified USA as a popular choice for January bookers. New York was the brands’ top performing destination last week for both bookings and room nights, with an impressive number of room nights into 2026. Las Vegas was also a popular choice, with over 40% growth in room nights year on year.

 

It’s not just the USA performing exceptionally well either, the Caribbean and Thailand are both +60% in package sales year on year and Indonesia and Vietnam are both in significant growth. Australia saw a growth in package holidays of over 45% last week, with December 2025 proving the top departure month by room nights and revenue driven, by The Ashes. 
 
Cruise Plus have seen two record weeks in their trading performance for sales. The luxury cruise sector had the biggest rise in bookings of over 28% year on year, but all cruising sectors were booked through the brand last week; luxury, ultra-luxury, ocean, river and expedition. 2025 departures accounted for over 70% of bookings, with the rest travelling in either 2026 or 2027. The brand has seen an increase in couples and solo travellers choosing to cruise, as well as more family bookings.

 

Dnata Travel Group UK’s B2B touring and adventure brand, Incredible Journeys, had two record breaking weeks in a row. So far this peaks, Africa has seen the highest growth for the brand with an increase of over 100% in bookings, with Kenya as its standout destination. Asia remains strong for the brand too, with Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia all in growth.

 

The brand also confirmed that solo travelling is on the rise, reporting an over 40% growth in bookings from this demographic; the top destinations they are visiting are Vietnam, Thailand, Peru, Costa Rica and India.
 
The ultra luxury specialist brand, Pure Luxury has seen impressive growth in their ultra luxury hotel performance into Europe, where Greece is 100% up year on year, and the Caribbean - where Antigua and Barbados have seen the biggest growth. Overall, the brand is seeing a strong lates market for luxury travellers, with over 60% of bookings travelling in the first two quarters of 2025.
 
Simon Applebaum, Managing Director shared: “Last week was outstanding for our brands and as we head into a payday weekend for many, we are optimistic about having another really strong week. January has been really busy and I’m delighted by how our teams have managed demand and still delivered a fantastic service level.”
