Embark on a journey to explore Tunisia’s cuisine and culture on a five-night itinerary with The Residence by Cenizaro
Cenziaro Hotels & Resorts invites guests to experience Tunisia’s two sides with the launch of its new package – From the Sea to the Sahara. The five-night itinerary will take guests from the north to the south of the enchanting country, on an exploration of its rich culture, cuisine, and breathtaking scenery.
Starting in the bustling capital, the first three nights will be spent at The Residence Tunis, a luxury beachfront resort boasting 161 rooms and 9 suites, each reflecting distinctive Arab-Andalusian architecture. The resort features five seasonal restaurants that serve cuisine from around the globe, including traditional Tunisian dishes at El Dar and authentic Chinese at Li Bai. Wellness enthusiasts can indulge in the award-winning The Spa & Thalasso, a 4,000m² sanctuary inspired by Roman thermal baths, complete with 18 treatment rooms and an indoor seawater swimming pool offering traditional treatments with a contemporary twist. Golfing enthusiasts can practice their swing on the resort’s 18-hole, par-72 course designed by Robert Trent Jones II.
After a rejuvenating time in Tunis, it’s time to venture south – hop in a 4x4 to embark on a scenic road trip down to Douz, complete with cultural pit stops along the way. Stop off at UNESCO World Heritage Site El Jem to explore the ruins of the largest colosseum in North Africa and Matmata – a small Berber town made famous by the Star Wars films for its troglodyte houses. The road trip concludes at The Residence Douz, a serene sanctuary which serves as a gateway to the Sahara. Surrounded by golden dunes and swaying palms, this new resort features 50 elegant villas, two gourmet restaurants, and a luxurious Spa by Clarins.
‘From the Sea to the Sahara’ package starts from 1,495 Euros per person and includes a three-night stay at The Residence Tunis on a B&B basis (with a free upgrade to the sea view room), a two-night stay at The Residence Douz on a B&B basis (with a free upgrade to a Prestige Villa), and a complimentary transfer between the resorts. T&Cs apply.
