Global Travel Collection UK has unveiled the first two days in a series of upcoming professional development days for its independent advisors.
These full day of interactive workshops and training were designed to provide Independent Advisors with the opportunity to grow their business acumen and provide strategies of how to proactively work ’on’ their business, rather than ’in’ them.
The agenda was thoughtfully curated by the Advisor Success team, Colin Geddes and Perry Critchell, including guest speakers and GTC UK support teams. They shared insights into tools and services offered by GTC UK, aimed at providing robust support for Advisors’ business management and development. One day was dedicated to Leisure advisors, whilst the other focused on the needs of Corporate and Entertainment advisors.
Advisors participated in an interactive workshop on ’Managing and growing your business’ to help advisors chart a path to success, and an insightful session on ’Raising your business profile through social media’, recognising the pivotal role of online presence in today’s digital landscape.
A highlight was the introduction of GTC UK’s Learning Management System, presented by the recently established GTC UK Training department. This innovative system houses a wealth of training information and a knowledge library, ensuring travel advisors have easy access to a source of valuable insights to enhance their expertise and skillset.
Francesca Mendola, Vice President at GTC UK said, “GTC UK is committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth, for its advisors. We are delighted to offer these Professional Development Days. Being a business owner can be lonely and daunting, especially if you have transitioned from being an employee to the CEO of your own business.
"We have received overwhelming feedback that the days not only inspired our advisors to invest in new business strategies, but the intimacy of the day created a safe space for all levels of advisors to learn from each other and openly share successes, strategies, and learnings. We look forward to bringing many more learning and development opportunities to our travel advisors in 2024.”
