Holland America Line unveils 2026 Alaska Cruisetour options

A total of 18 itineraries are on offer, including a new 13-day Alaska, Denali and Yukon Cruisetour. Itineraries range from nine to 17 days, departing from May to September.

Every Cruisetour will visit Denali National Park and include days at sea aboard Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Westerdam or Zaandam. Guests can personalise the order of their journey - if they want to cruise or go overland first - and can extend their trip with an itinerary to Canada’s Yukon Territory, including stops in Whitehorse and Dawson City.

Holland America Line has also renamed its lodge, located at the edge of Denali National Park, to Holland America Denali Lodge. Formerly known as McKinley Chalet, it offers views of the national park and wildlife.

Highlights of Denali Cruisetours comprise:

– Nieuw Amsterdam and Westerdam will operate itineraries ranging from nine to 14 days between Vancouver, Canada, and Anchorage or Fairbanks, Alaska.

– All Denali Cruisetours include a seven-day Glacier Discovery cruise featuring Glacier Bay and the Alaskan ports of Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway, plus either College Fjord or Hubbard Glacier - depending on the direction – and Inside Passage. The land portion includes up to three nights at the Holland America Denali Lodge.

– A 14-day Ultimate Denali tour includes an overnight at Homer, in addition to time in Fairbanks and Anchorage before or after a seven-day cruise.

– All single one-day Classic Alaska & Denali departures include a complimentary Denali Natural History Tour in Denali National Park.

– All two- and three-night itineraries include the Tundra Wilderness Tour.

Highlights of Yukon & Denali Cruisetours include:

– Itineraries range from nine to 17 days and include either a three- or four-day Inside Passage cruise, or a seven-day Glacier Discovery cruise, with a two- or three-night stay at Denali and Dawson City. 

– A new 13-day Alaska, Denali and Yukon Cruisetour aboard Nieuw Amsterdam or Westerdam.

– All Yukon & Denali departures now include the Klondike Gold Tour in Dawson City and the Tundra Wilderness Tour at Denali National Park.

– Access to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Tr’ondëk-Klondike.

Prices for the line’s Cruisetours start from £1,899pp.
