The JG Travel Group has delivered a Christmas tree to its local hospital with decorations donated by staff and customers.
The tree was delivered to the staff at the Neonatal Unit at Gloucester Royal Hospital. To make it even more personal for the doctors and nurses in the unit, employees at the head office in Cheltenham and customers across the different brands were asked to get involved and create handmade decorations.
Members of the marketing team delivered the tree, which was warmly welcomed by the staff at the hospital.
Beth Merron from the JG Travel Group marketing team said: “We wanted to embrace the spirit of Christmas and show kindness to those doctors and nurses who work so hard over the festive period. We found out that the staff room doesn’t get decorated like the rest of the unit, so we decided that we’d help brighten up their space especially for them.
“Our staff and customers are really generous, and we are always so impressed by their creativity. We had some amazing decorations, including a knitted gingerbread house and Father Christmas.”
Furthermore, JG Travel Group staff have also been busy creating Christmas shoebox donations, which are currently making their way to children in Eastern Europe via the Teams4U charity.
