’Just for One Day - the Live Aid Musical’ will open in London next May
Next year, it will be 40 years since Live Aid took place to raise money for famine relief in Ethiopia. A musical marking this historic day will open in London’s West End in May 2025 and agents can now book packages including coach travel, accommodation and a ticket to the show through Just Go! Holidays.
On 13th July 1985, the world held its breath in anticipation of the musical collaboration of all time! An estimated 1.5 billion viewers were glued to their TVs in support of Bob Geldof and Midge Ure and their efforts to help the people in Ethiopia.
This unforgettable moment in music history where the world came together Just For One Day is now a brand-new musical with a 36-strong cast who relive the magical and moving moment, the day rock and roll ‘changed the world’ at the West End’s Shaftesbury Theatre.
With songs that featured in the Live Aid concerts by artist such as Diana Ross, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, The Who, Queen, Elton John, The Police, Paul McCartney, The Pretenders, The Cars, Status Quo, Sade, The Boomtown Rats, Ultravox and more…book now to see the stirring story of Live Aid and how music united the world!
