Just Go! Holidays will offer a new Dordogne itinerary in 2025, the first time the operator has featured this region of France in its programme.

FBLIWAeCard

The nine-day ’Journey through the Dordogne’ tour spends six nights at the at the Auberge de la Petite Reine in the heart of the Périgord Noir region, with a four-course dinner and local Bergerac wine each evening, plus a free bar from 6-10pm. Just Go! Holidays are the only UK tour operator to feature this hotel and itinerary, offering agents something unique to sell.

A whole range of excursions are included to ensure customers get to explore this region to the fullest. These include visiting picturesque towns and villages such as Rocamadour, Martel and Bergerac, admiring the scenic vistas aboard the charming Truffadou Train and indulging in flavours of the region with a delicious wine tasting and a classic picnic at the family-run Domaine du Siorac estate. There are also visits to the Lascaux II caves and Chateau de Beynac, a preserved castle built in the 1200’s.

As the coach journeys back to the UK from the Dordogne it will travel through Bordeaux and stop en-route in the medieval village of Saint-Émilion.

Claire Dutton, trade sales manager at Just Go! Holidays, said: “This tour offers something a little different for agents to sell. We specifically picked the hotel we are using for its location in the beautiful Dordogne countryside and our itinerary is really unique in the UK market. France is always a key seller for us, but until now our tours have mainly featured the north including Paris, the Seine and our new Normandy battlefields products, plus the Cote d’Azur region in the south. This is a welcome addition to our portfolio for next year and with various dates in the summer months, I expect it to be very popular.”

Priced from £1,399pp. Departures are on selected dates between May and September and include return coach travel from selected pickup points around England, ferry crossings, six nights at the Auberge de la Petite Reine on a half-board basis with wine at dinner and a free bar between 6pm and 10pm, all excursions mentioned and first and last night in northern France on a b/b basis. Two share.
