The Latin American Travel Association has opened applications for exhibitors to attend the reimagined LATA Expo taking place from 24 - 26 June 2024.
In 2024, LATA Expo will take on a brand-new format as a fully hosted residential event, held for the first time at the De Vere Beaumont Estate. With a more intimate feel than previous years, the event will ensure that a cross-section of suppliers, influential buyers and media get invaluable opportunities to meet exhibitors from across the continent and discover new products, while strengthening existing relationships.
An integral part of the Expo schedule will include an informative conference program and a dedicated Sustainability summit, looking at how to future-proof the industry. Day one will start with the brand-new LATA conference, moderated by travel expert and broadcaster Simon Calder and featuring keynote speakers to elevate the discussion around the future of tourism. Throughout the event, there will be meetings in the afternoons, a glamorous gala dinner, the return of the LATA Achievement Awards and a dedicated LATA Expo Festival. The residential format will allow more time for more informal networking and for guests to unwind with industry friends and colleagues.
Martin Johnson, chair of LATA, says: “I am delighted with the initial response from exhibitors and buyers since we unveiled the new format for LATA Expo in 2024 and the registration process for our exhibitor members is now open. We will be announcing the keynote speakers for the two conference sessions in due course. We are thrilled to see the return of the LATA Achievement Awards and look forward to celebrating the very best of Latin America with our members at this more intimate Expo, which will bring more value to the members."
Applications are open to all LATA members operating services within Latin America across all sectors (overland to luxury) including excursion & transportation suppliers, hoteliers, expedition and cruise ships operating within Latin America, national and regional tourist boards and airlines with routes to and from or within Latin America.
