Global rewards and training platform, My Booking Rewards, has appointed Montse Herrera Despradel to the role of Business Development and Partnership Manager with responsibility for global markets including the UK & Europe, North America, LATAM, Asia and Indian Ocean regions. Commencing the role with immediate effect, Herrera’s remit will include global sales & marketing strategies, partner support to facilitate best use of their rewards technology and driving agent engagement across the multiple source markets. She will also be responsible for agent training and interaction, as well building new relationships as the main port of call for all enquiries.

Having studied International Business and Digital Arts at the University of Waterloo in Canada, and more recently completing a Digital Marketing Master’s Degree at King’s College London, Herrera has experience of MBR’s key regions having lived in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Canada, Switzerland, Spain, and the UK. As a multilinguist, speaking fluent Spanish, English and French, Herrera’s education has been intertwined within the hotel and travel sector and she brings important skills to the team, widening MBR’s reach in emerging markets.

Commenting on her appointment, Herrera says: “I am excited to be joining the MBR team and look forward to helping agents expand their knowledge of our supplier base, our latest offers and the future opportunities that will see them able to boost their earning potential. My linguistic experience lends itself perfectly to MBR’s global reach and I can’t wait to support the team with their continued drive for growth and increased engagement with agents worldwide.”

Darren Pearson, CEO, My Booking Rewards says: “We are delighted to have Montse join the team, her experience will be an asset in helping us to drive agent engagement in this newly created role. She brings with her invaluable linguistic skills and a hospitality background, which I have no doubt will play a huge role in helping us support our valued international partners and emerging markets across the globe.”
