The Datai Langkawi unveils part I of The Chef Series 2025

The Datai Langkawi, the iconic luxury resort nestled in a pristine Malaysian rainforest, proudly presents part I of The Chef Series 2025: The Gold List. A signature resort activation, The Chef Series showcases world-class culinary talent in an unforgettable setting, delivering an exceptional gastronomic experience.

Further cementing its reputation as a premier fine dining destination, part I of The Chef Series 2025 features four internationally celebrated chefs with a combined total of nine Michelin stars. Each chef will craft a bespoke menu inspired by their culinary philosophy, using Langkawi’s finest local produce and organic ingredients from the resort’s zero-waste Permaculture Garden. Spanning Europe to Asia, this exceptional line-up highlights diverse styles and a shared passion for seasonal, sustainable ingredients.

The Chef Series 2025: Part I Line-Up

• January 2025: Ana Roš, Hiša Franko, Slovenia (3 Michelin Stars, 1 Michelin Green Star)
• 14 and 15 March 2025: Jordi Artal, Cinc Sentits, Spain (2 Michelin Stars)
• 18 and 19 April 2025: Jan Hartwig, JAN, Germany (3 Michelin Stars)
• 20 and 21 June 2025: Kim Hock, Au Jardin, Malaysia (1 Michelin Star)

These exclusive events, hosted at The Dining Room, will immerse guests in exquisite flavours amid the ancient rainforest’s serene ambience. Cooking demonstrations will further reveal the artistry behind each dish.
