The Verandah Antigua to re-open as adults-only resort

With 180 open-plan suites with waterfront, water view or hillside options, the completely refreshed Verandah Antigua is set on 30 waterfront acres with two white-sand beaches, and just 25 minutes from Antigua’s VC International airport.

The resort features:

A variety of dining choices: Five restaurants offering a wide choice of dining options including the new Portofino, a spacious Italian-themed setting and a Michelin three-star inspired menu crafted by the resort’s chef. 

Even more sports and activity options: Four new pickle ball courts join the resort’s wide choice of included water sports and renovated 18-hole mini-golf course, the largest in the Caribbean. Guests can explore the island’s coastline on a four-person Hobie Cat sailboat, swim in warm, Caribbean waters, snorkel to see tropical fish and vibrant sea life, kayak, pedal boat, and stand-up paddle board. 

A brand-new sports-themed bar: The Wavy Wicket —designed as a lively island pub.  The bar features large-screen televisions, handcrafted cocktails, beer, and bar bites. 

Enhanced R&R:  A re-set at the resort is made easy with plenty of quiet spaces, new landscaping and new in-pool sun loungers and poolside cabanas. Two white-sand beaches and four spectacular freshwater swimming pools, including the main pool with a centre fountain, offer plenty of places to relax in the sun.  The Tranquillity Body & Soul Spa has revamped treatment rooms, and a menu with even more spa and salon experiences
