Travelopia announces new initiatives to support trade partners

Travelopia has announced the launch of two new initiatives across three of its leading tour operator brands – Citalia, Sovereign Luxury Travel and American Holidays – to support agent trade partners during the peak pre-summer booking season.

Running from now until 5th May 2024, Tailormade is offering enticing incentives exclusively for agents booking through the company, with the introduction of the ‘Tailormade Trade Shop’.

 

Inspired by the fun and approachable nature of duty-free style magazines, the initiative offers daily prizes, where each booking earns travel agents a chance to win exciting rewards.

 

Prizes range from luxurious perfumes and skincare sets to Ray-Bans worth £150. Hosted on the Tailormade Trade Facebook channels, the incentives will be running for 2 weeks per brand – Citalia, Sovereign, and American Holidays – followed by two weeks featuring prizes to be won from bookings across all 3 brands.

 

This initiative is designed to not only incentivise and drive successful bookings within the trade, but also to give back and reward Tailormade’s trade agent partners.

 

In addition, Travelopia has also launched two newsletters, dedicated to agents. The weekly offer newsletter gives exclusive access to offers information across all three brands.

 

The Travelopia Trade monthly newsletter, meanwhile, includes details of upcoming events, a selection of offers, industry news, hotel of the month and updates, all distributed directly to valued trade partners.

 

It has been designed to empower trade partners with a host of valuable insights and resources to inspire and educate both them and their customers.

 

Commenting on the new initiatives Trade Partnerships Manager, Kevin Gaddes (pictured, right, with Travelopia head of sales Simon Garrido), said, "We recognise the value of the continued, incredible support we receive from our agent partners.

 

"These initiatives are designed to recognise that support and trust, to not only show our appreciation with the Trade Shop incentive but also reciprocate that support by ensuring agents have the latest information and resources to hand to effectively promote and sell across all three brands with our two new newsletters.

 

“Our key focus is on educating and supporting agents with fresh, new initiatives and we look forward to growing our initiatives and engagement programme in the months ahead to help ensure they are in pole position for the peak summer season.”
