Travel leaders have been named among the country’s LGBTQ+ trailblazers by Attitude magazine in its fourth annual Attitude 101.
The annual ranking recognises the 100 most influential figures from the LGBTQ+ community across 10 sectors and/or categories, including travel, who were honoured at a ceremony in London on Friday (19 February).
Former Celebrity Cruises managing director EMEA Jo Rzymowska, who now is now a non-executive director at Hays Travel and founder of coaching and mentoring outfit Jovolution, is among those recognised.
She was named in the inaugural Attitude 101 back in 2021 alongside Alan Joyce (Qantas), John Tanzella (ILGTA), Arnaud Champenois (Belmond), Juha Jarvinen (Virgin Atlantic), Lipian Bongani Mtandabari (Ntsako Travel Africa) and Melissa Tilling (Charitable Travel).
Joining her in the 2024 ranking are Phillip Iveson, Tui UK and Ireland commercial director, and Anthony Woodman, Virgin Atlantic vice-president of Flying Club and CRM.
Other prominent travel names on this year’s list include Lightning Travel Recruitment chief Thea Bardot, founder of the luxury travel brand and content consultancy LUTE John O’Ceallaigh, Keshav Suri, executive director of Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, Max Aniort, co founder and chief of luxury villa and chalet rental specialist Le Collectionist.
They are joined by Equaldex founder Dan Leveille, Natalie Thompson, board member of WorldPrice Washington DC and Interpride and Charlie Sprinkman, founder of Everywhere is Queer.
"So honoured to be named on the 2024 #attitude101 list, and humbled to be celebrated alongside the most influential LGBTQ+ trailblazers of the moment, as selected by Attitude Magazine," said Rzymowska in a post to LinkedIn.
"Congratulations to all those listed across industries, from unsung community heroes to rising stars in art and culture. What a diverse, intrepid and colourful cohort to be part of."

"Sharing with thanks to Laura Brander [Virgin Atlantic vice-president of communications] for her tireless championship of this topic and for representing Virgin Atlantic at the ceremony on Friday."
