SPL Villas has agreed a deal with The Travel Network Group (TTNG) to expand its trade distribution network.
The agreement means TTNG’s 1,000-plus agents can sell the villa brand’s 1,500 properties across more 100 destinations.
In addition to TTNG, SPL Villas also has partnerships with Travel Counsellors, Advantage Travel Partnership, Barrhead Travel and Protected Trust Services.
Last month, SPL expanded its trade team after signing with Hays Travel and the homeworking division of TTNG, Independent Travel Experts. It gained an Atol late last year.
Laura Ingeri, head of product and commercial at SPL Villas, promised to deliver support to TTNG members “in the coming weeks”.
She said: “We’re really pleased to strengthen our trade distribution still further via this partnership with TTNG.
“In the last 12 months, the share of agent bookings has grown from 20% to 40%, but we want to increase that even more.
“To that end, our business development team will be helping to build [TTNG members’] confidence in promoting and selling the quality variety of our villas, as well as the reassurance offered by our Atol and Abtot membership.”
Managing director Edward Frampton-Fell last month pledged to grow SPL’s product portfolio by around 15% in 2024.
