Virgin Atlantic has resumed its three-times-a-week service from Manchester to Las Vegas after flights paused five years ago.
Flights operate on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays on the Airbus A350-1000, the carrier’s newest aircraft. Prices for return economy flights start from £856 per person.
The service compliments the airline’s existing daily flights from Heathrow to Las Vegas, which continues to be “a key destination” for British travellers, Virgin Atlantic said.
The reintroduced service is the fourth route Virgin Atlantic operates from Manchester to the US, building on established services of Orlando, New York, and Atlanta.
Dom Kennedy, senior vice-president at Virgin Atlantic Holidays, said: “We’re thrilled to be re-introducing our Manchester to Las Vegas service.
“This route is the only US West Coast flight available from the northwest and perfectly complements our existing flying from Manchester.”
Kennedy added: “We know our customers love Las Vegas – there is so much to do in the city from sports and entertainment to world class dining. It’s also the perfect starting point for road trip holidays, for those adventurous travellers looking to explore the US West Coast.”
News of Virgin Atlantic resuming Manchester-Las Vegas comes just days after Aer Lingus announced it would start flying from Dublin to Las Vegas later this year.
The Irish flag carrier’s three-times-weekly Vegas service will begin on 25 October and operate through to 29 April 2025.
