Beaverbrook is set to open its second hotel with a new property in London’s Chelsea in September.
The company opened its first property in the former Surrey home of 20th-century press baron Lord Beaverbrook in 2017.
Beaverbrook Town House is now due to open next month, as part of a partnership with property owner Cadogan, featuring 14 suites, a contemporary Japanese restaurant and bar, private events room and gardens.
The hotel is based in two historic revamped Georgian townhouses in Sloane Street with the interior design “joyfully referencing the Art Deco aesthetic of the 1920s and 30s”.
Each of the 14 suites is named after a London theatre and decorated with “clues to the playhouse’s past”.
The hotel will offer guests a range of services including private shopping and in-room massage and beauty treatments, as well as personal training sessions in nearby Cadogan Place Gardens.
Rates at Beaverbrook Town House start at £400 per night on a room-only basis.
