Mandarin Oriental has opened its second hotel in Turkey with the debut of a new property in Istanbul.
The luxury brand, which already operates a resort in Bodrum on Turkey’s southern coast, has doubled its presence in the country with the Mandarin Oriental Bosphorus, Istanbul.
The Istanbul property is located on the waterfront on the European side of the city, close to the historic Kurucesme district.
The hotel features 100 rooms and suites, as well as the Novikov Istanbul restaurant offering a fusion of Asian and Italian cuisine, the Bosphorus Lounge with a terrace and a pool bar.
Other facilities include three pools, fitness centre and a traditional Turkish hammam experience. While the 3,500 square-metre spa offers 11 treatment rooms and a VIP room with its own garden, private Jacuzzi and heated treatment beds.
Mandarin Oriental has an opening offer for the Istanbul property, which is available until 22 November, and offers a free third night for guests staying two consecutive nights in a room or suite plus a €100 dining or spa credit. Rates start from €695 per room per night.
