Caribtours is offering trade partners new benefits, prizes and exclusive offers as it relaunches its Diamond Club agent recognition programme.
The Diamond Club currently includes 68 travel agencies from across the UK and Ireland, which bring in more than £21 million of annual sales, the operator said.
Agencies are divided into four tiers based on annual sales, receiving a range of benefits. The new programme is highlighted in the operator’s magazine, which has also been relaunched.
Rebecca Bryson, head of sales, explained: “The Diamond Club Magazine is an opportunity to allow our Diamond Club members to see where they sit in the league as well as keep them informed on exclusive activities throughout the year and share our enticing incentive programme.”
In January Caribtours awarded prizes to agents including a seven-night all-inclusive stay at Spice Island Beach Resort in Grenada, Virgin Atlantic Premium seats to anywhere in the Caribbean, 500 cash vouchers and a spot on a luxury fam trip. Other incentives are running in February and will continue throughout the year, with several fam trips planned for 2023.
Bryson said 90% of Caribtours’ business comes from independent luxury travel agents, adding: “2022 was our best-ever year as a business. 2023 is already set to be even greater with the support of our agent partners.”
She continued: “This is a huge compliment to us that they trust us with their loyal clients, and we don’t ever take that lightly. The travelling public are crying out for the one-to-one personalised service that Caribtours and our travel agent partners offer – agents have had a massive role to play in navigating the complications that the last few years have brought us. Make no mistake - 2023 is the year for independent travel agents.”
