Colletts Travel will reopen its north London store and make its post-Covid return to the high street later this month, the brand has confirmed.
Poised to open in Hendon towards the end of January, the newly refurbished shop will feature several dedicated planning lounges where advisors can offer their clients face-to-face service.
It will also serve as a hub where Colletts advisors can collaborate, share best practice and learn from each other, as well as a training space for new recruits, with Colletts actively looking out for new agents and advisors in the weeks leading up to the relaunch.
Colletts added that the shop, which was shown to staff shortly before Christmas, will promote greater interaction between advisors, teams working for its tour operator arm Colletts Collection and parent company Global Travel Collective (GTC).
“Colletts Travel has experienced an increased interest from advisors who wish to work from the Hendon store, as they did pre-pandemic,” said vice president of GTC UK, Francesca Mendola.
Mendola added: “This growing demand to reopen the store has been encouraging and reinforces the importance of both face-to-face booking interaction with luxury clients and our suppliers to increase educational partner learning, out of our north London location.”
Established in Hendon more than 40 years ago by Roy Collett, Colletts Travel was sold to GTC in 2017, a division of Intenova Travel Group, which also owns Barrhead Travel and Travel Leaders Network.
