Children are invited to become a Park Ranger, a Sloane Ranger or a Royal Ranger as part of a new family experience at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.
Children joining the Little Rangers Adventures experience are given a treasure hunt map upon arrival, which leads them on a dedicated trail, with three colour coded options. Royal Rangers follow the red trail, while Sloane Rangers use blue and Park Rangers follow green.
Highlights along the way include Buckingham Palace, Harvey Nichols and the Peter Pan statue in Kensington Gardens. Additional experiences can be arranged, including a children’s personal shopping experience at Harvey Nichols and feeding the horses at Hyde Park Barracks.
Families can start their day by witnessing the Royal Household Cavalry passing by the hotel as they enjoy breakfast, and wrap up with a movie night in their room.
The experience operates year round, starting at £880, including themed children’s amenities and treats, a bespoke treasure hunt map and soft toy, a 90-minute photoshoot and photo, complimentary meals for children under 12 and a movie night. Customers also receive a second room connecting at half price for children aged 12 years and younger.
Other family offerings include a new children’s spa treatment menu, suitable for guests from five years old. Treatments include crystal singing bowl classes, mini massages, manicures, and pedicures.
The hotel’s Japanese izakaya restaurant The Aubrey offers a family weekend brunch, where children can learn the art of origami.
