The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort has teamed up with the experts at Sleep Savvy to help younger guests rest soundly during their stay.
The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort has launched a special toolkit to help families with younger children get the best sleep during their stay.
The hotel said it teamed up with Savvy Sleep for the initiative as part of an ongoing mission to ensure all guests leave the resort – located in the Unesco-protected Baa Atoll – feeling rested and rejuvenated.
Created in partnership with paediatric sleep specialists Isabel Page and Sara Nanetti, The Westin Maldives Kids Sleep Manual has been designed to provide parents with expert guidance and essential amenities for a stress-free bedtime.
The toolkit includes advice on a range of sleep recommended activities, such as beachfront lullabies and stargazing, both of which have been shown to boost children’s sleep quality.
Other suggestions include yoga nidra, which promotes relaxation through guided meditation, and encouraging kids to process and reflect by creating dream journals.
The launch follows a number of initiatives by the Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort to enhance its guests’ sleep experience and optimise their enjoyment of facilities while awake. Its signature Heavenly Bed, with its unique pillow top construction, and its bedside lavender balm, are just two of the amenities guests can expect for improved shut-eye at the resort’s 70 villas.
There’s also a Sleep Well Menu, which offers superfood dishes such as wild salmon with walnut quinoa, oatmeal tabbouleh and poached eggs on asparagus with snap peas and shiitake mushrooms. Beverages known to aid sleep and relaxation, such as herbal teas, are also available to order.
“Empowering travellers to sleep well reinforces our commitment to guest wellbeing and the growing understanding that sleep impacts everything from productivity to overall happiness. From our Heavenly Bed and lavender balm bedside amenities to the addition of our Sleep Well Menu, we believe nothing restores your mind and body like restful sleep,” said Vijay Kumar, general manager of The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort.
“We are thrilled to have partners like Savvy Sleep, who share our commitment and can amplify our mission to raise awareness about the benefits of a better sleep during and after their stay with us.”
