Abta has added a new webpage to its site in a bid to boost consumer confidence over travelling abroad in February.
The organisation has encouraged members to use the page as a reference point when helping customers prepare for their next trip and to share it directly with clients or anyone looking for advice about international travel.
Abta said as the process of travelling to the UK is "getting cheaper and easier this month" and it is now "the perfect time to set off on an overseas holiday".
The page highlights the importance of checking Foreign Office travel advice and what travellers will need to do when returning to the UK from 11 February, as well as offering guidance on how to show proof of vaccination and how to get a test for travel.
Graeme Buck, director of communications at ABTA, said the association’s members are dealing with "many questions" about travelling overseas under the new rules, and customers want the "reassurance of speaking with a travel expert who can make sure they’re fully prepared".
"This new guidance is designed to explain as simply as possible the main things that holidaymakers need to know about foreign travel this February, so our members can provide the support their customers need to book and travel with confidence," he added.
