Abta is set to host a webinar on 19 January to provide guidance on how travel businesses can protect their workforce’s mental health and what to do when issues arise.
The event, entitled "Mental Health Training for Travel Workforces", will be free to attend for Abta members and cost £99 for non members.
Abta said the webinar will provide "helpful tips and advice" on how companies can protect employees’ mental health and wellbeing.
The webinar will provide advice on what the key mental health and wellbeing risks are for employees, how employers can spot who is most vulnerable, and what can be done to help.
Practical guidance on how to protect workers’ mental health and what to do when things go wrong will also be covered as well as a recap on employers’ legal obligations when it comes to mental health in the workplace.
Speakers include Howden Employee Benefits and Wellbeing’s managing director Christine Husbands and senior data analytics and wellbeing consultant Hazel Craig.
Paul Harlington, group procurement director for Tui Group, will also share his insights and the event will be hosted by Abta LifeLine director Trudie Clements.
