The Advantage Travel Partnership has promoted Lee Ainsworth to the newly created position of head of operations and Mark Pullen to trading and operations manager for Advantage Holidays.
The moves take place with immediate effect with former TTG 30 Under 30 member Ainsworth now reporting to chief operating officer Paul Nunn and Pullen continuing to report to Ainsworth.
In his newly created role, Ainsworth will be responsible for working across the partnership and supporting the senior leadership team on managing strategic projects and driving operational efficiencies for Advantage’s head office and its members.
Ainsworth was previously head of Advantage Holidays – the association’s in-house tour operator – where he was the "driving force" since its inception in 2016, creating a "critical" service for Advantage members.
Paul Nunn, chief operating officer, said Ainsworth’s "commitment and professionalism" whilst heading up Advantage Holidays has been "outstanding".
"He moves on from his role as the head of Advantage Holidays and its sub-division, Atol Plus, leaving the operation in a position of strength and growth," he added.
Meanwhile, as trading and operations manager for Advantage Holidays, Pullen will now take responsibility for driving Advantage Holidays and further developing the Atol Plus solution. Reporting into Pullen are two new members of the team, Petya Lyutova and Dee Swain.
Nunn continued: "With Lee moving away from day-to-day Advantage Holidays operations, we are delighted to be in a position to promote Mark, who we have every confidence will successfully lead and continue to enhance our Advantage Holidays and Atol Plus tour operating solutions."
