Aer Lingus Regional will launch new flights from Dublin to Southampton and Aberdeen this winter.
The brand, which is operated by Emerald Airlines, will offer both routes from 30 October. Dublin to Southampton will be daily, with Aberdeen flights up to three times a day. One-way fares are from €37.99.
Flights will allow connections with Aer Lingus long-haul routes from the Irish capital.
Emerald now flies 22 routes for Aer Lingus. Ciaran Smith, Emerald’s head of commercial, said: “After a very successful summer season, we are delighted to be upping our frequencies and adding new routes out of Dublin to and from Aberdeen and Southampton.”
The new routes form part of Emerald Airlines’ wider expansion strategy, which will see the delivery of five additional aircraft that the carrier said would permit increased frequencies and “further capacity”.
