Agent who joined travel just before lockdown marks 100th booking

Mandy Blanthorn, who set up Your World Travel with Hays Travel Group’s Explorer Travel, had no prior industry experience other than her love of holidays.

Spain, Cyprus, Greece, Dubai, the USA and the Caribbean have been Blanthorn’s best-selling destinations, with her biggest booking so far being a safari to Kenya, totalling more than £50,000.

"Having my own travel franchise allows me to do what I love, whilst working the hours that suit me," Blanthorn said, adding her thanks to the Explorer Travel and Hays teams for their support.

"I have loads still to learn and would never say I am fully confident that I know all the answers."
