All-inclusive breaks are leading the way as 2023 summer bookings surpass 2022 levels, according to new data.
The findings revealed there has been a 27% increase in bookings made in July and August compared with 2022, with 35% more consumers opting for all-inclusive holidays.
Standout performers this summer include Malta, which saw a 78% increase against summer 2022, and the Turkish Riviera, with bookings to Dalaman increasing by 125% and to Antalya by 56%.
Majorca and Barcelona come in at first and second for the most popular destinations booked in July and August, meaning Spain remains as the top spot for lastminute.com bookers.
Spain held its position as the most popular country to visit overall, followed by Italy, Greece, the Netherlands and Portugal.
