The Travel Village Group has appointed Amanda Taylor as business development manager for its homeworking division, The Holiday Village.
Taylor has rejoined the homeworking sector after more than 10 years working outside travel for wine company Southern Wines and cosmetic firm Lush. She first joined the homeworking sector in 1997 with Instant Holidays.
In her new role, she will support new and existing homeworkers with marketing initiatives and networking opportunities.
Paula Nuttall, managing director of The Holiday Village, said: “I am delighted to be working with Amanda and her extensive knowledge, experience and understanding of our business owners is pivotal to the growth and success of the Holiday Village business.”
She added: “[The Holiday Village] is experiencing unprecedented growth facilitated by personal support, business development and individual entrepreneurialism.
“This role is a commitment to our business owners with Amanda facilitating any request for individual strategic support. Each individual business is different, therefore support has to be adapted accordingly.”
Taylor said: “Helping people build their businesses and brands is a passion I have shared for many years and this opportunity affords me the time and support I need to engage with the team.”
She will be supported by new marketing executive, Layna Mcmoran.
