APT’s Becky Baumbach will take on a newly created role of dedicated homeworker business development manager as part of the operator’s continued expansion of its trade support team.
Baumbach – who has served as the firm’s business development manager for more than four years – will take on the new position from 1 December to develop sales, relationships and opportunities with homeworking agents.
The new role will see Baumbach lead an extensive training programme and events to help enhance sales conversions for agents.
Reporting into APT & Travelmarvel’s head of sales and business development, Brad Bennetts, Baumbach will engage the relevant head offices and support them with marketing and sales campaigns to increase their business.
"As we all seek more flexibility in our working lives, homeworking has exploded post-pandemic," said Bennetts.
"We recognise that homeworking agents are an integral part of our industry, and of our business, and we want to ensure that they are equipped with all the necessary support to thrive and capitalise on the outstanding opportunity that the APT & Travelmarvel products offer."
APT is now recruiting for a new business development manager to cover the UK’s southwestern region, previously covered by Baumbach.
