Blue Bay Travel’s Personal Travel Consultants division marked its first anniversary on Tuesday (26 July) by setting out plans to expand the team of homeworkers from 25 to 30.
Over the past year, The Personal Travel Consultants in Partnership with Blue Bay Travel has served more than 5,300 passengers and now represents a third of Blue Bay’s overall business.
Stand-out sales for the PTCs have included a booking of almost £100,000 to Las Vegas, which contributed to 31 January 2022 being the business’s best trading day to date with total revenue of £213,000.
The homeworking arm was also shortlisted for the Luxury Homeworking Business of the Year award at the TTG Luxury Travel Awards.
Personal travel consultant Sara Whitfield was recognised as Best Newcomer and Jaclyn Keighley was awarded Personal Travel Consultant of the Year by Blue Bay after she achieved £2m of sales revenue in one year.

The Personal Travel Consultants currently has 25 agents with a further five set to join by September. The business also plans to recruit an assistant sales manager by the end of the year to further drive growth.
