British Airways has confirmed it will restore scheduled services from Stansted next year for the first time since the pandemic.
Weekend flights to Florence, Ibiza and Nice will commence on 18 May from the Essex airport. Fares are from £41 each way to Florence, £36 to Ibiza and £43 to Nice, and are now on sale.
As pre-pandemic, the routes will by operated by BA Cityflyer, which is based at London City airport and which during the week flies to nearly 30 short-haul destinations.
The new Stansted services will complement existing weekday flights to the destinations from London City, plus recently added weekend services from Edinburgh to San Sebastian and Olbia.
Flights are on Embraer 190 aircraft in a 2-2 seating layout. They will offer two cabins including Club Europe business class. Club Europe passengers are offered a full meal service with drinks from the bar, priority boarding and additional baggage allowance.
BA CityFlyer will also operate a weekly Sunday charter between Stansted and Calvi for Corsican Places this summer.
BA also revealed on Monday it would operate flights to Agadir for the first time in more than a decade next year.
