Charlotte Gallop has been appointed business development manager for Inspire Group, a move which sees her return to travel after a two-year spell away from the industry in the recruitment sector.
She previously held retail, distribution, recruitment and business development roles with brands such as Going Places, Thomas Cook, Teldar Travel and Travel Counsellors.
In her new role, Gallop will seek to recruit new agents to Inspire’s homeworking arm, the Independent Travel Advisors, as well as launch a series of recruitment days and other events to support the division.
She will also work closely with existing homeworkers to support the delivery of their development plans.
Gallop takes over the role from Lorna Hardy, whose focus will shift to developing her own business as an independent travel advisor. Gallop will report to Sam Fisher, who was appointed head of business development in February.
Lisa Henning, managing director of Inspire Europe, said: "We are delighted to welcome Charlotte to Inspire, as well as welcoming her back into the industry.
"We have ambitious plans to grow our homeworking business and Charlotte will play an integral role in this.
"She is also a qualified business coach so will be an excellent resource and support for our growing team of independent travel advisors."
