Cuba drops PCR requirement for vaccinated UK arrivals

From 15 November, Covid tests won’t be necessary before entering the country and PCRs won’t be needed when arriving at Cuban airports.

All tourist destinations will be open for visitors, and entry guidelines for the country will focus on surveillance of symptomatic patients, temperature screening and random diagnostic testing.

Visitors aged 13 and above will have to show proof of full vaccination administered at least 14 days before arrival, or, if unvaccinated, submit the results of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival.

All travellers will have to fill out a sanitary declaration form before landing in Cuba. Passengers must also bring travel health insurance which includes Covid-19 related coverage.

All international vaccines will reportedly be recognised by the Cuban health authorities.
