Designer Travel will increase its focus on educationals over the coming months, with 18 homeworkers set to embark on three "exclusive" trips to key destinations.
The homeworking agency announced on Thursday (21 September) it will take six members to southern Africa next month for a luxury safari. The group will initially stay at Jaci’s Lodges, in South Africa’s Madikwe Game Reserve, before going up to the Victoria Falls.
November will see homeworkers embark on a nine-day tour of Costa Rica, while in December eight agents will visit western Antigua, which includes a stay at four-star resort Blue Waters Resort and Spa.
Co-owner Karen Pocock said the new trips complement its “already extensive” educational programme, which include at least one education trip for every team member.
“We also have an annual luxury overseas conference, so the opportunities for hands-on learning experiences are exceptional within the business,” she added.
It comes as six team members were flown out this week to the Maldives to retain Designer Travel’s reputation of Indian Ocean experts. During the four-day trip, agents visited a variety of resorts – including Oblu Select Sangeli and Atmosphere Kanifushi.
